Pt 2 - Day 16 - The Hunter Valley

Today we had an easy 180km to Cessnock in the heart of the Hunter Valley.  We are unable to check weather info this morming as we don't have tv reception, however, we don't have a desperate need either as we are far enough south now to be out of harm's way.  So Glen and I feel much more relaxed.

The Pacific Hwy is very good, however, the minor roads taking us to the Hunter Valley are just shocking, particularly with the van on.  We check in to our Big 4 Caravan park and spend the afternoon researching information, washing, getting photos developed, doing bookwork and off course, the children spend most of the arvo at the pool.  The weather is overcast and we do get a couple of light showers, but we also see the sun for a short time today which is very exciting.

This evening we are excited about watching the tennis, what a marathon match.  I woke up long enough to see the end of it as it was 2am over here when it finally finished.
